Google's AMP Project at states the problem that very much connects with our experience at our customer sites - starting with Lithan.
"Instant. Everywhere. - For many, reading on the mobile web is a slow, clunky and frustrating experience - but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project is an open source initiative that embodies the vision that publishers can create mobile optimized content once and have it load instantly everywhere."
And the answer is AMP from Google. This has an impact not just on User Experience -UX but also on SEO and Search Results Ranking , and hence click-thru and conversions thereof. In summary, our mobile page generator needs to include AMP HTML constructs and spew out an alternative structure (maybe including text dupliocating and avoiding penalty useing "rel=canonical" tag).
